Poetry Writing Course Canceled
The university has decided to cancel the poetry writing class. This decision was made for two reasons: First, according to the class attendance records, there are too few students attending this course, which is financially unfeasible: teaching and classroom resources can be better allocated to other courses. Secondly, the city college, located nearby, offers the same poetry writing course. Students who want to take the class may go there and take the class for the same fee and academic credit.

W: I think you have a point. However, students can still take the poetry class at the city college nearby.
M: Go to the city college! It takes more than one hour from our school to there by bus. That is really inconvenient.
W: What about driving there?
M: Are you kidding? Most students don’t have a car.
W: That really is a problem.
