M: Rita, how’s the music festival coming along?

M: But what? You look really worried.
W: Well, remember this is the Outdoor Music Festival?
M: What could be better? In spring, the outdoor music can attract a lot of people.
W: I just heard the weather forecast. There’s a sixty-percent chance of rain this weekend. That will ruin everything! We’d have to interrupt the Festival or worse, cancel it. Then we’d have to return money, after we spent so much getting everything ready. It’d just be terrible!
M: Why not just postpone the whole thing till next weekend?
W: It’s not that simple. Either the bands we invited or the listeners will probably have other plans for next week. Besides, we did spend quite a bit on advertising. If we cancelled now, we’d have to spend more money calling it off. It could cause trouble.
M: Yeah...But, hey. You know the weather here. When it rains, it usually doesn’t rain all day. I mean it’ll rain for a while, and then stops and the sun comes out and everyone knows it’s going to get sunny again soon. The rain might interrupt the concert for a little while, but you probably won’t cancel it!
