There’s been another day of negotiation in Algiers to try to secure the release of hostages aboard the Kuwaiti airliner. But little progress appears to have been made. During the day, tape recording messages from two of the hostages were radioed to the control tower in which they said the hijackers had repeated their demand for the release of 17 prisoners l mm Kuwaiti jails and warned if this was not met, the hostages would be killed. The Kuwaiti government says it will not give in to the hijackers’ demand.
