答案     As is seen from the above chart, on the whole, the population of London is in decline while three other cities has robust population growth, especially Bombay in India. Although London is an advanced city, its population remained unchanged between 1950 and 1970. And between 1970 and 2000, London even had a negative population growth, which declined from 9 million to about 8 million. However, three other cities experienced an explosive population growth at the same period. Since 2000, the population in London has remained the same and that in Mexico City has had a slightly growth. In 2000, the number of population in Shanghai reached the peak of about 26 million. Because of one-child policy carried out in China, its population will remain steady in the future. But the population in Bombay continues to grow rapidly and is estimated to have the same population as Shanghai in 2015. So it is necessary for India to take some measures to make the population growth under control.
