    In the picture, a son is presenting a parents meeting notice to his father. In the meantime, the son is asking his dad to "polish shoes, use hair mousse, and best of all, drive a car". His father is astounded by the succession of requests.
    The intention of the picture is probably to offer a lesson about the shocking materialistic pursuit of some children at such a tender age. This materialistic mindset is instilled from the society and compounded by peer pressure.
    As far as I am concerned, teachers and parents need to work together to prevent children from being polluted by materialism. First, teachers should behave properly and should not discriminate students from poor families. Each student should be treated equally, regardless of his background. Second, parents should set good examples to their kids. For instance, parents are advised not to show off their wealth, material gains or superiority over others. Instead, they must teach their kids the importance of sharing things with and offering assistance to each other. In short, children are the mirror of their parents and teachers. With the combined efforts of teachers and parents, kids will be less affected by the materialistic world.
