   What the cartoon reflects is an interesting and usual respect of daily life. However, from a deeper perspective, it also reveals the gradual loss of traditional culture in modern society. What exactly contributes to this phenomenon? Possible reasons could be listed as follows: for one thing, some people, especially the young, hold the opinion that traditional culture is out of date, thus failing to keep pace with the life of modern city. Moreover, exotic cultures, to some extent, have great impact on the traditional culture of China. As we can see, a large number of people have been deeply attracted by foreign cultures which have many kinds of feature.
   However, no one can deny the significance of traditional Chinese culture. It is the crystallization of Chinese wisdom and civilization. It is of great necessity to attach more importance to the traditional culture, because an individual or a nation showing no respect to the essence of traditional culture cannot be expected to develop and be stronger. Hence, something could and should be done to reverse the inexorable decline in the emphasis of traditional Chinese culture.
