People in their sixties should go to university to retrain because they will be expected to work for longer before retirement,【C1】______David Willetts, the higher education minister. Mr Willetts said the age limit on student loans to【C2】______tuition fees had been lifted, making a degree course "great value" for older people. Campaigners for the elderly voiced doubts that prospective pensioners would be willing to commit【C10】______challenging degree courses.
Mr Willetts, who is【C11】______David Cameron in India,【C12】______workers older than 60 to【C13】______further education serious consideration. "There is【C14】______a pressure for continuing to get retrained and upskilled," he said. " Education is such a good thing it is not【C15】______for younger people. "
Under【C16】______rules, students in England were【C17】______for a loan to cover tuition fees only if they were younger than 54. Latest【C18】______showed that only 1,940 undergraduates starting courses last year were older than 60, out of a【C19】______of 552,240 students in Britain.
