    Why is independent thinking becoming so vital? For one thing, it generates fresh thoughts and innovative spirit in the mind. When people think independently, they won’t let anyone strangle their enthusiasm. For another, independent thinking is a tool that can be used to enhance personal skills extensively and build up one’s confidence.
    There is no doubt that we, as college students, need to improve the ability of independent thinking. First, we should learn to make sense of the world based on our own observations and experiences rather than blindly accept whatever we have been taught. Second, it is an effective way to approach problems from different angles. I’m convinced that independent thinking will create countless opportunities for us.
