We may not be able to access it if there is no one at your home to let us in. The best time to call is one day before your scheduled meterreading day. （Your meterreading date appears on page one of your Newtown Gas Company bill.）　 Go to our Web site at www.newtowngasco.com/meter to send us your meter reading．Send your reading at least one day before your scheduled meterreading day.　 If you use either of these two methods to provide us with your reading， you will see the words “customer reading” next to the reading on your bill.
