Hi, everyone. We’ve called this meeting to inform you of the changes we made to our sick leave policy. Starting in January, all unused sick days from the previous year may be counted towards the next year’s vacation days. That means if you haven’t used any of the 5 sick days you were given this year, you will be awarded 5 extra days to use as you please in the upcoming year. These days may be used as additional sick days, to take an extended vacation, or for personal use. Please note that any extra days taken off will be unpaid. Also, if not used within a year, these extra days will expire. As always, the personnel department must approve all requests for time-off.
