    The job as a civil servant is eagerly pursued nowadays. An increasing number of graduates, the unemployed or even those who have worked for many years would prefer to take their chances in the competitive test. While the provided positions are quite limited, the competition never ceases. Two reasons contribute to this phenomenon. First of all, gaining a job as a civil servant means a promising future and stable salary for most people. Besides, with more and more college graduates flooding into the job market, the number of applicants surges, which makes the competition more fierce.
    As far as I am concerned, we should hold a more rational attitude toward the phenomenon. If we are not fully prepared to dedicate ourselves to the job, we’d better learn some practical skills and knowledge to prepare ourselves for new job opportunities. Suitable jobs will come to us if we are competent enough in the professional field.
