答案
Is the Privilege Class on Campus Acceptable?
With the popularization of the quality-oriented education, college students can develop their interests and hobbies more freely. The amateur athletes, singers and hosts become the second identities to many students, who are entitled to special consideration in their studies. They can pass the examinations with much lower scores. So some people say that it is not right to allow privilege class on campus. However, I don’t agree with them.
There are many reasons why I hold no confidence on them, and I would explore only a few here. The main reason why I agree the privilege should be enjoyed by some students is that it is more difficult for students to be all-round in the rich and fast-paced life in universities, and that exam scores no longer play a key role in evaluating the achievement of college students. So schools cannot ask students to be good at both their study and extra-curricular activities. Furthermore, one’s time and energy is limited. For example, when student-athletes are exhausted in their daily exercises, there will be little energy left for them to study. So the special consideration will help these students to concentrate on their specialty.
All in all, what the so-called privilege students enjoy is not the privilege at all, but the support and encouragement from the universities to their development. So, of course, the privilege class on the campus is acceptable.
