    ②Several factors can account for this phenomenon. ③For one thing, since many students from one-child families have never lived in dormitories before entering college, it’s common for them to meet difficulties in getting along with others. For another, most middle schools, giving priorities to the grasp of knowledge and high grades, have neglected the nurture of students’ sound personality and ability of communication. Besides, some parents’ improper way of education also leads to the children’s incompetence in human relations.
    ④Considering all these, I suggest that colleges establish a complete system of mental counseling for students, including regular speeches and courses on psychology, free professional consultations, etc. ⑤Parents are also supposed to give a hand in dealing with children’s emotional dilemma. Finally, students themselves should take an active attitude towards group life, and consciously develop harmonious relations with others.
