    In modem times science to human beings is like food to our bodies. It is science that frees us from the bondage of Nature. More than fifty years ago, aero planes, cars, steamers were in the course of development. Man’s life was not as convenient as today. So science is our benefactor.
    But when it is wrongly used, its destructive power is uncontrollable and terrible. For example, atomic energy can help us to change deserts into seas, to remove mountains, and so on, yet it can also destroy thousands and thousands of lives in a split second. We must make science serve us for our benefit.
    People are trying hard to make better use of science. One scientist said, "In the past, man studied science because he wanted to understand Nature. But to day, to study science is to master Nature." What he said is really true. Today more and more achievements have been obtained, in science, this makes it possible for us to realize our dreams.
